Map data is constantly updated and tolls are automatically synced every 24 hours to ensure the API always uses the most up-to-date information.
What vehicle types are supported? ▾
API supports six vehicle classes: two-axle vehicles (< 3.20 m), two-axle vehicles (> 3.20 m), three-axle vehicles, four- and five-axle vehicles, vehicles with six or more axles, and motorcycles.
What map sources are available? ▾
You can select Google Maps, TomTom v1 or TomTom Orbis v2 with the 'mapsource' parameter.
What is the 'steps' parameter, how should I prepare it? ▾
The 'steps' parameter sends the point coordinates for the route as a semicolon-separated list. When sending coordinates, you must round to five decimal places.
Does the API support batch processing or reporting? ▾
Yes. There is an aggregate fare endpoint that calculates for multiple routes or vehicles in a single request, and report endpoints that provide cost breakdowns over time.
How do I authenticate and get an API key? ▾
An API key is required to access the service. You can request a key by sending an official application containing your project scope, usage scenario and contact information to info@adastrai.com with your corporate or academic e-mail address. School email address is required for student license requests.
